Hello from your friendly neighborhood Piano Man!
I am a singer songwriter who's major influences include Billy Joel, Ben Folds, many of the keyboard bands of the 80's and a lot of musical theater influences too.
I was born and raised in New York City with a baby grand in my apartment, started playing piano seriously in high school and then started writing songs (there was a girl, of course) and music has always been a part of my. life. It brings me peace if I'm feeling sad or stormy, and it brings me joy that I love sharing with an audience of any size.
I love to pick up any instrument I can get my hands on and see if we get along - I found Li'l G, my acoustic guitar, close to 20 years ago, and we have made a bunch of new songs together. The newcomer, ‘the C’ (the Sea), is an electric guitar that I got because I was left unsupervised in a cool music store (not my fault), and I found out how different these two guitars were to play! I love how there are unique songs and sounds to be discovered between each instrument - kinda like people, right?!?
